Product Description

This title is making some buzz overseas and on social media. It’s an intricate, intelligent and compulsive thriller, set in North Korea. Soo-min, a US citizen, is abducted from a South Korean beach, and twelve years later her twin sister, Jenna, now a professor in Georgetown, is recruited by the CIA and sees this as a chance to discover what happened to her. Mrs Moon works on a penal farm and discovers an aid package which she decides to use to her own advantage. Cho is a dutiful official who gets sent to New York to negotiate a deal, when he discovers that he may be related to a traitor of the state. These three threads join very satisfyingly and the result is a superior thriller that is an absolute pleasure. Highly recommended.
