There followed four more Borrowers books: \u003ci\u003eThe Borrowers Afield \u003c\/i\u003e(1955), \u003ci\u003eThe Borrowers Afloat \u003c\/i\u003e(1959), \u003ci\u003eThe Borrowers Aloft \u003c\/i\u003e(1961) and \u003ci\u003eThe Borrowers Avenged\u003c\/i\u003e (1982). \u003ci\u003ePoor Stainless\u003c\/i\u003e was the last Borrowers story Mary Norton wrote.
