This brand-new anthology presents a wide range of reading experiences aimed at English Home Language learners in the Senior Phase.

Written by established and debut authors, the stories vary in narrative structure, setting, theme and voice. Illustrations accompanying each story provide the opportunity to practise visual literacy. Stories range from the anecdotal to folk tales, science fiction, socio-political satire, and cover personal and social relationships, giving readers much food for thought.

All stories have CAPS-aligned educational content to develop and improve learners’ reading and comprehension skills.
