Where Volume 1 covered the conventional phase of the war, Volume 2 covers the guerilla phase when the Boer soldiers started moving around in smaller groups. It covers the scorched-earth policy, the concentration camps, the prisoners of war and the peace process. Volume 2 again contains many enhanced and beautifully coloured iconic photos from the war, as well as several previously unpublished images.
