After President Kamawu steps down, Delilah Mashidika steps up as the first female president of Lubanda, to continue to steer the vibrant African nation towards its future. Although initially reluctant to follow the charismatic and gifted Moses, Delilah becomes a formidable leader, battling her own personal struggles with illness and fighting the regressive forces from inside and outside Lubanda. She works hard to continue to achieve the development milestones which have lifted many Lubandans out of poverty and faces up to the country's new role as a beacon of the African continent.
